The cobweb highways I have made,
searching through
the thousands of steps for
the misstep that brought me
here, far from truth, and what I
hoped I could find.

The web strings across my days
attracting all manner
of six-legged wanderers,
that I consume, hopeful
that I will be nourished
by what sticks around.
