Omnia Lux Joshua Alan Sturgill

Throw the world’s windows wide
Awake, awake the morning tide
Wake the roots and wake the bones
Deep unto deep the torchlight goes

Down to darkness, down to gloom
Light to burst the ancient tombs
Upward, raising each and all
Upended is the ancient fall

Release the latch, uncatch the doors
Dissolve the roof, remove the floors
Dress the table on the lawn
Invite the stars, expect the dawn

Come, crowds of magpies, quetzals, crows
Call the rainbow, down it flows
Come, horses, hippos, hartebeests
Thundering to the Paschal Feast

Rains and gales washing clear
Suns and seasons, moons and years
The Lord of Glory enters in
Earth and Heaven now begin
