The Ancient Modern

Sermon  /  Joshua Alan Sturgill

I become a god
offering
by spoonfuls

my Infinity.
And in the giving
welcome you

to life. I am
blind because
today I give you

my eyes. Mute:
tomorrow, receive
my tongue.

My loss your
Incarnation,
your Gravity.

I become a god
divested, climbing
weightless into grace
