the robe only
of an unseen sky

Iron lends
blood and garnets
            Red

to teach them 
the art
of blushing

            Green
an origin myth
of Junipers

           Gold
cloth of the Sun’s 
sails, full-swelled

leaping
White-capped
waves of stars
