The Lord creates
out of nothing
but Himself

while He sleeps 
in the heart
of a sparrow’s egg

alone, because 
All.  And being All,
never alone— 

sparrow and egg
in His heart
while He dreams

of the Selves
out of nothing
the Lord creates
