The Ancient Modern
The Loom / Joshua Alan Sturgill
I’ve found no relief from longing, so I have always been a dancer. Weaving stories on the loom of the wind. If you mark the path of my migration, I am a spindle. A length of thread. I lay the pattern of old knowings into fabric light as light, binding Earth to Heaven with my weaving. No relief from longing. No pause in the dance.
